Renaissance India Next Fund – Cat III Long Only AIF

The underlying theme of Renaissance India Next Fund is “India Economic Recovery”. The fund was launched in 2018 in the backdrop of sharp slowdown in Indian economy due to implementation of various disruptive reforms by the Govt. of India such as Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, Goods and Services Tax, Demonetization, Real Estate Regulation in a short span of time during 2016-17. The fund manager had a considered view that all these reforms while disruptive in the short term shall be beneficial for the Indian economy over the medium to long term

Renaissance India Next Fund invested in companies which are aligned to domestic Indian economy and which were adversely impacted by the slowdown in the economic activity in 2018 and were trading at attractive valuations with a view that these companies will be significant beneficiary of the recovery in the Indian economy going forward.
